I’ve been wanting for days to write a post about the movie Gravity which had been in the number one spot on US and Canada Box Offices for three consecutive weeks, but another movie took over its primacy. There was the IMF declaration to tax the rich that gripped my interest. I’m not going to pass the opportunity now and I’ll couple Gravity with the current Box Office Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. Bad Grandpa, by Paramount with $32million in ticket sales on its opening week alone rose to number one; beating Warner Bros., Gravity’s $20,135,387millionand good I mentioned IMF in my opening salvo; this here values will surely raise IMF’s heartbeats. Breitling’s most expensive model “The Grande Complication” is going to make IMF’s heartbeats beat very fast too. Mind you there are breitling Replica watches that are expensive too but will not going to warrant a glance from the “Finance People.”
With an introduction that goes like this “A new look for pilot’s favorite instrument.” The newly redesigned Breitling electronic multifunction Aerospace chronograph is now going to set the world on fire? Retaining most of its technical features the new Aerospace Evo has a new more dynamic and powerful style touted by Breitling as peerless functionality through the professional design. Now that’s one breitling aerospace that will be conquering the world as Breitling had been active in upgrading its chronographs with world time functions and worldwide timezones.
We all know multinational corporations are amongst the highest earners in every country where they have businesses. And being the highest earners, investors of these companies also get rich from the profits of their stocks that come to them in the form of dividends.
Many countries are facing huge budget deficits, which had started a few years ago because of different reasons but mostly because of mishandling of funds and are still being faced by the majority up to these days. One thing true in history; full of ups and downs for countless multinational companies Breitling together with all of its very expensive breitling Bentley lines have managed to stay afloat all these years.Even the one country we all think of as the unbeatable giant; that is America, along with other developing nations is facing huge deficits too.
In Australia’s mining industry there’s an extraordinary mineral product called the Rio Tinto Pink Diamonds. The feature of the 2013 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender of 64 varied diamonds which are mostly stones in hues of red, pink and blue and was fixed for auction last Monday, October 14, 2013. Two stones fetched $2million each setting a record breaking high. The central attraction during the highlight of the auction was a 1.56-carat gemstone, the Argyle phoenix; which sold for a record high of more than $2million to a Singapore-based jeweler. The highest per-carat price ever for a Rio Argyle’s diamond. Way higher than the quoted price for a Grande Complication breitling Bentley model.
Another one also sold for over $2million was the Argyle Dauphine; a 2.51-carat Fancy Deep pink diamond to a jewelry dealer based in the US. As with other items of luxury the prices for these diamonds are dictated by the trend of the demands set by connoisseurs, designers, jewelers and collectors. Much like what happened to the high priced breitling for bentley motors, although the very expensive Breitlings have insets of diamonds too.
All over Brazil fans are excited for the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup. The ones behind the constructions and preparations of the infrastructures and program of activities are in a frenzy to iron everything out long before the start of the World Cup in 2014. But many analysts that are following the progress of everything about the Brazilian hosted World Cup have come to an information that could turn off fans from personally attending the World Cup. While tickets for the actual matches set at $150 minimum and could amount to a total of $6,000 to $12,000 for the whole duration of the tournaments; this could be the most expensive World Cup as expensive as high end breitling colt models. Other Colt models by Breitling are priced affordably because Colts were made as entry level watches.
As of my writing this post some countries especially America are still on the brink of recovery from the most recent financial crisis that had hit many financial institutions and most of the highly developed countries. But one financial institution in America; in fact an investment bank had just reported substantial earnings for the third quarter. In fact they claimed their earnings “almost doubled as the firm’s trading revenues and stock sales rose.” Well, all I could say is that good for the people behind Morgan Stanley they were able to provide what they are receiving pay packets for and that is to make everything in their company work towards gain in revenues and assets. One other thing I could say to them is that “You now could afford to splurge on a breitling for bentley motors timepiece with the gain of your stock earnings.”
Yes you read it clear and right although not the Breitling’s part in this nostalgic impromptu concert by Paul MacCartney but Paul’s part on it is true and confirmed. It was a regular lunchtime last Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Covent Garden and people there are already used to the motley of street performers that perform for a coin or two tossed their way. That fateful Friday’s performer hadn’t bother to upend a hat and pass it around. What he only wanted was the accolade and he thirsted for it. One accolade from us the ubiquitous followers of perfectly elegant and sophisticatedly precise timepieces; could be very well awarded to a very recent breitling superocean; the Superocean 42 dubbed as the “Life in Cool Blue” by Breitling insiders.
My previous post mentioned a knighthood for the once Beatles member Paul MacCartney; and he was berated by a lot of his colleagues in the music industry because of that. Some even went on to accuse the recipient of being gagged from giving voice to every British citizen’s dissent towards their Royals by the bestowed royal favors. It was the first knighthood received by Paul MacCartney; and this post I will talk about the one instituted by Prince William. October 17. 2013, Thursday and it was in the morning hours; Prince William hosted his very first investiture ceremony sealing his imminent ascension to England’s throne. Paul MacCartney’s knighthood had no relation whatsoever with Breitling and its timepieces models especially the breitling Bentley lines.
And who “in the name of the local gelato” is Tim Minchin? One thing I could definitely tell you this early in my post; he is not one of the Breitling Celebrity Ambassadors with a breitling for bentley motors. This kind of question I know would be incredulously blurted by a friend’s half asleep grandfather. He would be in his rocking chair, nodding off in the family room where their family; together with their visitors always gather for talks and howdy’s. This line of thinking struck me because Tim Minchin’s comedy style and line of attack reminded me of that friend.
I found some detailed Breitling’s history that is being stated in a different way than others which I had read before. In these particular article the difficulties faced by the Breitling’s; humans behind this horologic wonder and productions and the products too, through their entire journey over the years were cited. It was comprehensively detailed that just reading the lines telling the tale of the Breitlings years before the predecessor of the breitling chronomat b01, the Chronomat was manufactured gave me gratification.
